A Zillion Diamond Lights

my soul splinters
into a zillion pieces
tiny pinholes
threads of light
shine through the darkness of my skin
my minds eye blinded
by the very depth of me
yet still I surface in a memory of being born
the possibilities of a life
thats height is beyond the stars am i really so invisible
so small
what happen to that star I saw fall
n wished upon that night
seems so long ago
yet here i am
still burning

I look up in the dark skies of my eyes
the sea is blue
a zillion diamond lights ripple in reflection a star falls
I reach out my hand
and catch
